Digicert Generates 6 Million Units For e-Filing System

KUALA LUMPUR, April 24 (Bernama) -- Pos Malaysia Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, Digicert, has generated six million units for e-Filling system and it has the highest usage of digital certificates in the country.
In a statement Friday, Pos Malaysia said Malaysian taxpayers continued to experience secure, smooth and efficient e-filing thanks to Digicert, a licensed certification authority.
It said Digicert has been providing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) services to the Inland Revenue Board since 2006.
"The PKI supports the distribution and identification of public encryption keys, enabling users and computers to both securely exchange data over networks such as the Internet and verify the identify of the other party.
